History
Threads for Change Foundation started with our founder, Daniel Mofor. Growing up in Cameroon, Daniel saw the lack of mentors and the big difference that guidance can make in the lives of young boys and girls. This experience, combined with his love for fashion, inspired him to create the foundation.
After moving to the United States and building the successful menswear brand Don Morphy, Daniel wanted to give back to the community. He believed that clothing could do more than just make people look good—it could boost confidence and open doors.
Since we started, Threads for Change has focused on helping young people and those in need. Our Prom Initiative gives students formal attire for prom, making their dreams come true. Our Dress for Success program teaches young adults how to dress professionally, helping them make a great impression in job interviews and at work.
We work closely with communities to understand and meet their needs. We value sustainability and cultural diversity in all we do, making sure our help is both meaningful and responsible.
Threads for Change is more than just a foundation; it's a movement towards a brighter, more empowered future. Inspired by Daniel Mofor's dedication to helping others dress for success, we invite you to join us. Whether through volunteering, partnerships, or donations, your support is crucial to making a difference.
Together, let's create a future where every piece of clothing helps build confidence and change lives.
